Detox Day- Tuesday, January 18
I didn't run today. I hardly got any sleep last night so how can you expect me to pound out some pavement.
I'm starting a detox diet for one week where I would eat a lot of lean proteins, fruits, veggies, whole grains...good for you food. It was something I saw in the November 2004 issue of Self. I figured I would eat better since the last few weeks I have been eating rather poorly. Still despite my bad eating habits, I'm still weighing in around 123 lbs (ugh, I was 118 lbs around November). But the good thing is that I am now at 32% body fat. I still could use some improvement but around this time last year, well, December 31, 2003, I was at 36% body fat. 4 fucking percentage points! Now that's a lot!
It really got me to jump start my detox diet. I totally felt energized all day, a steady stream instead of cranky and craving and having something icky then feel a crash in energy. Good clean fuel for food.
