I'm Getting My Ass Whooped! Thursday, January 13

Today's route is the change of scenery route. Went from the end of the 22 Fillmore line at Fillmore and Bay through Chrissy Field to Fort Point and back.

Comments:
Fucking windy and foggy. Not too foggy where you can't see what's in front of you. I really wanted a nice sunrise and clear blue sky. Am I on crack or what? Bad assed headwind as I was heading out to Fort Point. As I was running through Chrissy Field (both towards Fort Point and back), my heart rate monitor just didn't transmit. It just beeped annoyingly for a good while like it does when it is out of range. I swear I was ready to toss this thing into the water.

I'm wondering if I really am setting my zones too high. Am I getting too fat? I don't think so because I've been fitting fine in my pants. This is my first week using these new zones. Funny thing is that if I were to use the zones set up by the old formula, I would be out of range.

Then again, I think I know what I did wrong. I set it up for a tempo run. Silly me.
